You can own this truck for just 70k
Have to admit, they're probably not far off. This is fantastic.

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
Looks nice. First I've seen someone do the subdued/semi-gloss dash paint treatment in one of our trucks - I think they did a nice job on the interior. OEM it's not, but this is a full-on custom show truck, some incredible craftsmanship. First homemade Cheyenne Super woodgrain dash treatment I've ever seen that screamed "custom AND better than stock"
I'd still prefer a patina'ed non-rusted original truck of the same ilk for 1/4 the price though ![]() |

What really drives the price up is the ceramic shielding on the front end so you don't burn up when you re-enter orbit.

Stunning truck, but that's the kind of truck that's too nice to take just anywhere or actually use it as a truck.

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
I've been watching this truck on Ebay for months. An individual had the truck for sale before this dealer bought it. Super nice truck. I would love to drive it once, and then again, and again...

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
Very very nice. I love black with saddle interior. But who would plunk down all that money just to take to shows where you can't take credit for any of it, can/t answer questions about the build, and only say "I bought it like this". For credits, what do you put on the sign board... the price? Maybe the name of the bank who financed it? It's not done yet, still needs mirrors. I'm sure there's someone out there for this truck.

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
Yes, it is a fantastic truck and gives us lots of ideas of things we would like to to
do to our own vehicles but...... unless you have some Cayman Island bank account that your wife does not know about. To even dream of owning something like that at least for me is just that: a dream. But it is still cool to look at!!! |

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
Over the top. Beautiful truck. Someone with deep pockets had it built and sold it. Looking for someone else with deep pockets to be the new owner. Compared to over the top cars coming out of about 10 shops around the country this is a bargain. Most of those are over $200,000. Starting at $200,000 that is.
Just look at beauty and see beauty. Don't hate the builder, owner, new owner, seller, or next owner. When you have really deeeeeeeep pockets (not me), it's just another zero. ![]()

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
great looking truck, but where can you park something like that and leave it without worry about a door ding or scratch. If I owned that truck, I would just stress all the time about it.

Both the doors and the dash are cut, maybe worth $5K as a fixer upper.

It's a "wrong bed" so it's only worth 12K tops!

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
Nice truck, but if i'm spending 70k... hell if i'm spending 20k, it has to be a shortbed for me. I wouldn't spend that kind of money to use the truck for its intended purpose, negating the need for the extra bed length.

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
extremely nice truck but I think i'd rather drop 70K into my beater building it exactly the way I want it, not that there's much I would change on that truck

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
Well, that gives me a decent look of what the wood over steel would look like on my truck. I like the look, and may look into doing it on my truck. I also like what they did to the interior. I realize that as other's have said, 70K seems like a whole lot for that truck, but I think it's all a matter of what you want. A new Caddy would cost that much or more, and some people wouldn't have any use for one in their driveway. A 2500 series truck can easily run that high, and again, to some, no such need. Same for a new sports car. Any of those would most likely be driven to the grocery store, out for ice cream, whatever. So, why not with a truck like this. I'm not saying I'm jumping in on the bidding, or would pay 1/3 that much for it, but someone will. Places like the one selling it know it and know they get what they want.

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
sadly some guy will buy it, who has no idea or the love for the labor of these trucks, the history, the heartache or the long nights spent awake.. Lying in bed thinking about how to solve the latest problem...
Instead he will hand it down to his son and his son will grow up thinking his daddy built it.. Lol Non practical.. Trailer queen.. If I could afford it- I wouldn't buy it. Lol |

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
Way too much flash. Too much money for a overbuilt pick-up.
As far as I'm concerned I like a original or close to it pick-up, than something like this. Spend all that money on it, than what? Don't what to haul scrape in it or yard waste!!

Re: You can own this truck for just 70k
In fairness to this truck, I'm not going to use mine much either. I'd use it more than this one for sure, and it will cost about 40K less.
This truck is strictly for show. And as someone pointed out, you contribute nothing but an open wallet. If I were rich and had the space for it, this truck would be a welcome member. That undercarriage is the nicest I've seen.
