Gas tank grommet
I just installed a new gas tank behind the seat and the grommet. I purchased the grommet from classic industries and it is smaller than the original. Has anyone else had the same issue and if so, where did you get the correct size?

Re: Gas tank grommet
The one I installed from Classic Ind. cracked after 6 months. I then bought one from GMC Paul that is guaranteed to not crack and leak. 2cents.

Re: Gas tank grommet
There was a post just the other day about this. Gas tanks before 71' had a 2" neck and 71' and after had a 1 1/2" neck. I'd check that first.
