Any good aftermarket rear cargo lamps gaskets? No LMC garbage!

I purchased and installed a new cargo lamp gasket from LMC just over a year ago. It is already all cracked and I haven't even gotten the truck painted! Just another junk item from LMC. I have my used one but since everything else is going to be new that is what I prefer. If anyone has had good experience from a certain brand I would appreciate it. Most of the items that I have bought from them are poor quality and a waste of money. I am gathering up as much NOS stuff as I can find but I can't get everything.

Re: Any good aftermarket rear cargo lamps gaskets? No LMC garbage!

That's weird, I got my rear cargo lamp from LMC, and it still looks as good as the day I bought it over 2 years ago. This is one of the first things I replaced after getting my truck. The other gasket was completely dry rotted and the light socket was all rusty from the water getting inside the light. So I just got a whole new light and gasket from LMC.

The Phoenix heat is EXTREMELY hard on rubber/plastic items.

yes I know this is an old thread and may not be related to original question but I have a question. Did you have any problems installing the cargo light? these rubber, threaded studs they sent with kit seam to be junk. Did you use those?

I don't remember treaded studs, so I must not have used them. It seemed it was a simple swap. I had more issues with the wiring/terminals, because it was rusty. I ended up getting a new wire hookup that goes down to the switch.

Those were a pain but I eventually got them to hold. I think they bulge out as you tighten them. My gasket has remained fine but the lens mounting screws rusted within a few months.
