1970 C10 Seat Belt Replacement
I want to replace mismatched seat belts in my truck. Got new belts from Brother's. Do I need to remove bench seat? It seems straightforward but I'd be interested in any advice before I attempt the swap - thanks!

That would be the best,i changed one with the seat still in but it was hard on the knuckles. My seat came out easy, but that will depend on rust.

Thanks for responding - I like to learn from those who have been there before me.

I did mine with the seat out, just have some help on the removal so you dont scratch the rocker panel. Be aware that the seat frame has some pretty sharp edges.

Re: 1970 C10 Seat Belt Replacement
As above ^.. Best with seat out.
I've taken the bench seat out by myself by using piece of discarded carpet and also cardboard under it after removing the bolts to keep it from scratching floor board. A helper would be much easier, though.

Re: 1970 C10 Seat Belt Replacement
Thanks to all responders - I was able to replace them without taking the seat all the way out - I did have to unbolt the seat and move it toward dash.
