Road trip!!! Hauled home another one.

Been on the hunt for a decent blazer body for future use. Had some board members watching for me and this one came up for sale. Been sitting since 93 at least. Came from an old board member (sharpie72) in northern wyoming. Original paint and pretty clean. Sitting on a 70 blazer frame with 8" stock wheels for a bonus. 14 hour trip one way.
On to the pics as everyone expects...

Rocker boxes look good and may possibly have the correct red lockouts on the extra frame?
The correct 72 frame is underneath and looks awesome. Been painted already too...

Its a future project. I think I may part out a few other blazers I have here and just throw them at this body and see what sticks to make a driver. Should finish the 69 short 4x4 first.......

And since you are a body man, (that is what I went to school for also) I figured the extra drive time is worth it for a clean body. Saves a lot of time and money down the road.
Be patient and get something decent to start with.

Re: Road trip!!! Hauled home another one.

Great find. That's a long way to go for a set of 8" wheels! Well, I guess the solid Blazer, frame, etc made it worthwhile. Glad to here you got up with Dennis. How's his wife's jewelry thing goin'? My sister sells hers on etsy.com
