LMC catalog

I have a question for you guys... For the life of me I don't know why they have 4 different fuel sending units on page 54.... One is for 2bbl, 4bbl, manual tranny, and auto tranny... Can someone please explain the differences? The gas tank and sending units, to me, should all be the same.... Thanks....

Re: LMC catalog

The difference between 2bbl and 4bbl would be the fuel outlet size. AT/MT appears to be an 1972 only deal. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

Re: LMC catalog

There's a 5/16" feed line on an original 6 cylinder truck.
3/8 line on a v8, those are both for a pre 72 truck that has the screw on fitting on the sending unit.
In 72 the automatic truck had 2 lines coming out of the sender, one 3/8 push on feed line & another emissions return line.
The 72 standard truck just had 1 3/8" push on style feed line.
Hope this helps.

Re: LMC catalog

Thanks guys, that does help a lot... The sending unit itself is the same, just the configuration for the application is what changes.... Thanks...
