What year is my steering column?
I need to replace my turn signal switch and I know for sure that this column is not original to my 68. I need to know what year it is so that I can order the correct turn signal switch. Thanks.

Check for part numbers on the existing switch.

Re: What year is my steering column?
Hard to tell from the pic at this angle.
If it does not have the key in the column it's earlier than '73 [?]. If the Hazard flasher tab is Red and small [1/4"], it's a '68. If it's a black round knob about 1/2" it's later. But my '68 C/10 has the later knob because the OEM broke and the later knob was all the dealer had for replacement. Your steering wheel is a '69 - '72. The '67 - '68s had 3-spokes.

Either switch should work. the one for the 68 or the 69-72

Re: What year is my steering column?
I took my horn button off to find this. Am I missing the nut that holds the steering wheel on?
