Dragged home my first blazer today!

Got my first blazer today! I was on my way home and took a little detour to see if a 70 chevelle i saw a long time ago was still sitting were i last saw it to make an offer if anyone was home. Turns out i took the wrong turn off and ended up finding this blazer. Old lady answered the door and said it was her nephews and that he definitely didn't want to sell it. I gave her my number and said if he ever wants to I'm interested. Well a week later I got the call and went and picked it up today. Paid 800. Engine likely junk since its been open and sitting for 20 years but i have a spare 350 thats ready to go. Will definitely need whole new 1/4 and passenger rocker but the rest of the blazer is very straight even the doors. Anyways heres the good part PICTURES

Great story. And for that price you can't go wrong!

After a second look that looks pretty solid! You got a great deal.

I think the drivers 1/4 will need a complete side (structure?) not just the outside skin. Does anyone know were or if I can get that?

They sell complete quarters now but I might have the structure if you are going to just reskin it.

Re: Dragged home my first blazer today!

Update on the blazer! Got some used 31 inch tall tires for $300 and put the spare 350 I had in. So in all after I bought an engine harness for it I'm into it about $1200 which I don't think is to bad. Its all ready to run it just needs the wiring figured out and its good to go. I haven't even washed it with soap and a brush yet so the paint is gonna look even better as soon as its runs and I can bring it over to the house to wash. Anyways heres the good part, PICS.

Your K/5 project is coming along nicely, if looking for the correct hub caps we have a full set listed F/S in the below linked blazer-jmmy parts thread. Mel
