Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
I didn't think Chevy made 3/4t Blazers with pickup bodies in '68. Learn something new every day.
Isn't a C/10 3/4t 4wd just a K/20? I really need to learn as much as this guy about these trucks. I like the little thing. Would make a great snow plow truck.

Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
C10 4x4? Answer, Some claim the K 4x4 designation occurred late 70s forward. That's how I'm reading it anyway. One guy claims everything on his VIN matches up for a C-10 4x4.
But then there's this:

Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
I can understand not posting the spid cause a lot of non-enthusiasts don't pay that much attention to the spids. What surprises me is there is also no serial number in the ad because it brokedown could tell the tale if its a legit factory build or not.

Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
Sure is a cool little truck.
Seems there is a few odd things about it. BBC fan shroud...ok Bedside are like new....ok But... Why is the rear cab mount frame bracket bolted on with holes in the frame rite in front of it.....I could live with it. Sure is clean.

Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
It's a factory '68 Blazer K/20 with optional '80s disc brake 10-bolt front axle, '69-newer 350, and saddle interior paint/medium green exterior. Yep, all factory parts except green repaint

Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
It looks very unoriginal. However I recently ran into a 67 Dodge Power Wagon, short bed, with factory 3/4 ton axles. It was a special order and the original owner still had it.
I know the manufactures do things differently but I suppose one of these could be possible. However this green one is not that one of those.

Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
Looks like a Blazer frame with a truck body bolted to it. The rear cab mount should be more than a foot in front of the forward leaf spring bucket on a short bed truck chassis. The bed sides were most likely shortened to match the wheel base.
8-lug axle swap is super simple and common. Easy to explain that part. I have done that to pretty much every half ton I have ever owned. I asked him for measurements of the wheel base and bed length. We will see if he replies.

There is no way this truck come from the factory like this. Not even a debate. Look at the cab mount brackets.

Putting aside the issue of originality/factory, I like it! looks like it would be fun to drive.

Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
On the local craigslist now. The bed has been cut down as well? At least it looks like it to me. Hope someone new to the hobby doesn't come along and end up with a clown car of a truck.

Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
The picture of the outside of the truck showing the area where the front of the bedside by the cab meets the front bed wall looks wonky to me. There are some extra holes, and the folding over of the bedsode skin doesn't look factory. I'd say its been cut down.

Re: I'd like to see the SPID on this one..
It's gotta be cut down no doubt. That wheel base looks way less than 115" I'm like the others, betting on a blazer frame, especially with the way the rear cab mounts are moved. It's interesting, not 10,000+ interesting. At that price is rather have a nice topless K/5 on a summer day.
