December 2015 ToTM
This month our Truck of the Month (TOTM) theme is fitting for our traditional Christmas month, so bring on the …
Snow Bird! So check out the criteria to participate in this month’s contest.
To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need two pictures minimum, at least one full view of the vehicle, along with the owner’s board name and Make/Model/Year of vehicle. Nominees will run through November 23. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Voting Poll Thread will be set up by November 24 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The voting will run thru the morning of December 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the evening of December 1. The announcement of the TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

Not many us up here in the great white Northeast. 1970 C20 w/350 pretty much "period correct" and stock with a few conveniences... overdrive, 45 gal tank... daily summer driver and towing vehicle for outdoor adventures. Drive it anywhere tomorrow.

Re: December 2015 ToTM
I'll throw my truck in the hat. The truck is a all original 79 Silverado SWB loaded up with PW, PL, tilt. cruise, dual tanks & bed rails etc. It also has the factory big block 454 engine. That was the last year it was available in the 1/2 ton trucks until 1990.

Re: December 2015 ToTM
Here is my daily driver. Vortec crate engine with a 700R4. Dropped 4 1/2 front and 5 rear. I have the original owners manual pack with the protecto plate. Truck was built at the Fremont plant and sold by Hansen Chevrolet in Roseburg Oregon. I was able to find a license plate frame from them for the back of the truck.
