Dealing with board members for parts
In light of some people's recent experience with less than satisfactory dealings with board members, I'd like to post my experiences. The following list of board members, I have had personal dealings with. They all were good people to deal with, very honest, and I would certainly do business with them again.

My two cents:
GMCPAUL Wes @ classic heartbeat Jeff Jesseman - Cheyenne Parts Northeast ricks pickup parts granted these guys are dealers, not just board members, but I have had great experiences with each....not to mention they offer a bundle of knowledge! I have also had indirect dealings with Teeitup (Randy), and would place him on this list. Last edited by Charlie Coleman; 09-16-2003 at 03:04 PM. |

Bill Athey of Athey's Truck parts
I purchased a project and lots of new parts from Bill. He's professional, promp and competitively priced. It would be nice to have a dedicated thread or poll that tracks the sales history of board members. Maybe even a rating system like ebay? Ian |

I've had good luck with WES, GMC Paul, Rick's pickup parts, and a good deal from Meathead 95 on a steering column.

Rule of thumb, never send part out until payment is made, preferably a postal money order. Will he not answer your emails?, then reverse address and locate phone number, then call him.....
