Does anyone recognize this book?
I somehow found this screen shot of a 1983-84 parts book of some sorts but don't know what the book is called. I would like to find the same one for a 1982 model so I can identify some of these transmission linkage rod parts.
Can anyone help me name this book? |

Re: Does anyone recognize this book?
that's from a Parts & Illustration catalog. They are on e%ay all the time.
I have the whole set. Great for explaining things at the parts counter.

Re: Does anyone recognize this book?
You could look it all up yourself... Thank hatzie for this: PDF of Square Schematics & GM Training Manuals
Gregski, you want books 51 & 51A for a '74, about 3/4 of the way down Hatzie's post, look for: Light Trucks Parts Books on My Server... 11555wally, you want books 52R for your '86, also about 3/4 way down the post, look for: Light Trucks Parts Books on My Server...

Re: Does anyone recognize this book?
The eBay price is usually pretty dear for the paper catalogs. They are rare and desirable so the manual mafia prices them accordingly.
If Gregski is looking for the MY6 shifter pages he'll need the 79-84 or 85-91 Illustration books as well. Everything I've posted will fit on a $5 USB stick... If the Mediafire site is down, for whatever reason, or you don't have the bandwidth to download a 50 meg PDF... Ian Harding has all of my parts catalog scans posted on http://gmpartswiki.com You can search and view individual pages without downloading the whole catalog. GM stopped producing paper catalogs in 1992 or 93... The last of the paper parts catalogs that cover the 88-93 T400 CK Light Trucks have recently landed in my hands. I'll get them up on the 88-98 board as I get them scanned.

Re: Does anyone recognize this book?
Where's the drooling smiley when I need it? That is excellent news, I'm looking forward to downloading it.
