Need help with short conversion for my 63!
I've trying to research but I mostly see post about guys doing this on the 67-Later models, and the ones I see for 60-66 or very Vague Details or just dudes showing off their work but no details.
Anyways me and my welding buddy are very close to cutting my bud, but I need to do my research about cutting the frame and the measurements for the bed, does anyone have info they could share with me so I can cut it??? Please, and thanks guys. |

Also I was thinking about doing the slightly longer 7" conversion instead of the regular short bed, I do agree they look a little sunnier, but either doesn't matter, I have the tools to get ready to start cutting,

Re: Need help with short conversion for my 63!
I just shortened my frame a few weeks ago on my 64. Remove 12 inches from under the cab. Cut off forward bed mounts. Move rear cab mounts 12 inches toward the rear of frame. Make sure you brace the frame and level it before any cutting!!!
