short fleetside wood bed?
since the search is down....
who out there makes a kit to build a wood bed for a short fleetside. all i can find is stepsides and long fleetsides. any websites that detail how to put one together? thanks. |

I have yet to see one...I know mar-k does not sell one. You might be able to modify a 8 foot fleet kit to work on a short fleet bed.

Chris is correct. Bruce Horkey offer's a "show" kit that allow's you to put a simulated wood bed over the top of your steel floor.
I have seen it, and it is awesome quality. I considered this for my 77, but all my buddies shot it down...

screw what your buddies say.. WOOD BEDS RULE!!!!!
i definately dont want an overlay type thing no matter how nice it looks. Maybe ill just try modifying the longbed stuff. there will have to be a section cut out in the middle anyway for a nice big frame bridge. ill look into the longbed stuff. |

They custom mill each one, so you can get it however you want it. Give them a call. They are very nice people, and more than willing to send free samples...
