Weather stripping-figured it out!

I had a lot of issues with the doors of my 1950 truck not closing, weather stripping being pinched, etc, after I had installed the original gasket the "correct" way. The long edge is meant to be installed toward the cab so that it turns over and creates a seal. This did not work for me.

The weather stripping was installed with the long edge against the door and it seals great and closes even better. The combination of the seal and the Altman easy latch is the way to go. I don't know if others had figured this out but it was frustrating for me, so hopefully this will help someone else.
