Question on repop tailgates
Anyone have a repop tailgate, I am wanting to know if they are thinner then OEM ones, would like a measurement at the point it goes into the slot in bedside.

Re: Question on repop tailgates
I finally used one of my new take off tailgates for my truck and proudly displayed all the original spot welds that it left the factory with. And they loved to leave them rough on our trucks. I bet all those heavy spot welds made the gate heavier than todays aftermarket gates.
