Re: 69-70 Chevrolet grill
I have a complete original GM grille but it needs work. I can post pics if you are interested. I will be going to Indianapolis in 2 weeks, may be able to meet for a pick up.
Thanks, Mark

Re: 69-70 Chevrolet grill
I'll be honest with ya, it was painted when I got it and looked good, base coat/clearcoat. I wanted to see what it looked like under the paint so I stripped one of the corners with aircraft paint stripper, the paint didn't come off as easy as what I thought but after a couple soaking with the stripper I wet sanded the area with 2000 grit and polished it out. So to make a long story short, I think it could be restored but it would be a lot of work. I ended up buying a NOS grill for my truck instead of using this one, there are some nice ones on here occasionally but they are $$$.

What part of KY do you live in? I have one also. But I am in Frankfort. Grumpy may be closer to you than I am.

Re: WTB 69-70 Chevrolet grill
Is it possible to work the dings out of these grills? Just wondering if restoration of original is an option for a nice grill.
