I need some frame measuerments.... please?

I need some frame measurements. One (or both) of my front frame horns are slightly bent (vertiacally). Either one is bent up, one is bent down, or a combination of the two. They were both bent to the passenger side slightly, but I go them sqaured back up (horizontally). Do any of the shop manuals how dimensions of the frame? If so, could somebody give me the dimensions??

If not, I'm not sure the best way to get a measurement off another truck. It'd have to be off a truck that is lowered (4"x6" drop would be good), hasn't been wrecked, SHORT BED, and had equal tire pressures. With the truck on level ground, maybe take a measurement from the bottom of the very back of the frame to the ground, then a measurement from the bottom of the frame right below the front cab support bracket to the ground, then one from the top of the core support bracket to the ground. I then could adjust my air bags to match the rear two dimension and then verify the front dimension. This probably wouldn't be very exact, but might get me in the ball park.

Or, what is the correct dimension between the bottom of the core support and the core support frame bracket?? If I knew that I could set it at that height and then would be able to tell what the problem was based on the fender to door gap. Right now I have the passenger side of the core support shimmed up, but I think the drivers side isn't high enough.

Any other suggestions???

If I have "X" and "Y", I can find "Z"

I have a computer printout from a GENISIS 3 that I could fax you, Before we send a frame over to have it checked we level the frame side-side and front-back between the cab mounts and do a quick check on all 4 corners at the core mount and rear bed mount hole to insure it is a useable frame, anything over 3/8" is used for frame parts and we grab another frame from the pile. The hourly rate on the GENISIS is 150.00 and a 225.00 setup so you better send a pretty good frame over in the beginning. LOL the frame machine is located at a local FORD dealership but GM was able to send the compatible factory computer card to them.

MOTHERTRUCKERS, that would be great! I had no idea that this frame was bent when I bought it, and it's too late to swap frames now. It's not that bad so I think I can fix it.

Here is my fax number:

816-444-3703

Thanks!

Jason

I have a Genisis frame set up at my shop. It cost about $30K new not including the frame machine thats just for the computer, but it can do some really cool things. We charge $100 set-up and $60 an hour.

It can straighten just about any vehicle as long as you set up good reference points in the begining.
