Question Parking Brake cable from equalizer

Does anyone know where I can get the 'equalizer' type parking brake cable? All I can find is the newer style.

Classic Industries said this should work but they weren't positive. I suppose if its long enough I could just shorten it and put a new end on it somehow.

Re: Parking Brake cable from equalizer

I bought the same park brake cables in your link for my '63 SWB. As I was removing the old cables today I know realize that the link to the control arm on the new ones is a small ball pressed on the cable and not an adjustable bolt with two nuts like the original. I've been looking for some type of connector to use but have not found one yet. I'll let your know if I do though. Maybe someone on the site has a solution. I think the '64 and later were slightly different.
