'62 K10: 3-speed on column, not Granny 4?
I'm going to pick up the '62 K10 Long Step I bought... Yeah, I'm a loon when it comes to buying stuff.
I bought it sight-unseen, knowing it's a basket case. I mainly bought it for the frame, the running gear, and the VIN. Of course, as it turns out, I'll probably be replacing the T-case, the trans, the rear end, and I've got a cherry bed, front sheet metal and doors for it, so really, I bought a rusty junk cab, a front axle, and VIN! Anyway, I found out today that it's a 3spd on the column. I'd have thought all 4x4 trucks came with Granny 4-speeds! -Brad

Standard equipment is the 3 spd. HD 4 speed optional.

Cool. Thanks guys!
My Suburban was a California Parks Vehicle, was 2wd, 283, and came with Granny 4spd and Dana 44 rear positraction axle. I really figured getting a 4wd would just naturally come with Granny 4spd too. -Brad
