Hello from Southern Illinois

So, I have been on this page for a while, but just now trying to become a little more active, as I am going to be doing a bit more work to my c10 soon, and may be seeking some more advice. Heres some of the info i found on the pinned post

Please share a few things about yourself. (Bio, family, background, hobbies, your favorite pizza topping, your favorite vacation spot, etc): well, ive always been into motor vehicles from dirtbikes, atvs, jeeps, trucks, cars ect
How long have you owned your truck? Sense August of 2015
What made you decide to buy this truck? I saw a lot of potential in it when i saw it parked in a buddies yard
How do you store your truck, at home, garage, outside etc? What do you enjoy about your truck the most? Outside, its very unique and a survivor, every dent adds character
Who or what was your biggest influence in building your truck? my budget
What has been the biggest obstacle you have faced in working on your project? How did you/do you handle it? my budget. worked as much as i can to afford new parts
What/who is you favorite/best part source? craigslist, summit
What are some things have helped your project to be a success? Friends and Family's support
What is the history behind your truck? it was a coal hauling truck in southern illinois, originally had a v8, a friend of mine purchased it, and hot rodded it, has had many different motor set ups, but currently is just a mild street truck
What do you use your truck for? (hauling, cruising, daily driver,shows, drag racing, work truck, mudding etc): messing around, but i drive it as much as I can
What is your favorite memory with your truck? Getting it started the first time
Whats your favorite modification done to truck and why? Bags, they opened a whole new world regarding stance, ride, and looks
If you had one thing to do over on your build, what would it be and why? I would not have done the brakes to the original single outlet style master cylinder
What are your future plans for your truck? LS swap, 5 speed swap, drop spindles
What words of advice do you have to people who are just starting out with their project? Save, Save, Save
