parting out square bodies

Hi, I retired last year and have been thinking about picking up square body trucks and parting them out,is there a big demand for parts on here? would it be worth my time, I would become a paid member to do this....I wonder if guys back on the East coast and midwest, would be interested in original body parts and cabs, if you would be willing to pay shipping on parts?

Re: parting out square bodies

I would say so. Just hop over to the classified section and check out the threads were people are parting out trucks. The parts sell quicker than they can get the parts off.

A lot of things people need are small stuff like trim and badges,Since gm made two truck with a lot of trim levels and maybe a 1/4 of it is remade. Then you got the rare options parts like the swing down cargo light thing.
