Rear bumper

Hey guys, I need a replacement rear bumper for my 1966 fleet side four-wheel-drive truck. This bumper is more like a utility bumper than a decorative bumper. The ones I see in the catalogs are just small decorative bumpers. Can someone please tell me where I might be able to purchase a utility style bumper.

Re: Rear bumper

Agreed. I have the decor bumper on my K and its nice that it matches the front bumper in styling...but its a K not a C! I don't think anyone reproduces the utility bumpers but used ones are out there. I haven't been looking but will be.

Re: Rear bumper

Actually - a thought - the 1991-1993 Dodge Ram may be close in width just different in brackets. I will try to check that out.

Re: Rear bumper

That is a pretty nice step bumper that could be fixed . I just put a bumper from a newer chevy on this weekend. it was 3 or 4 inches to narrow so I cut it in half and cut a piece out of a wasted bumper to fill in.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I am going to have a fabricator look at it to see if he can straighten it out for me.

That bumper can be straightened - I didn't realize that was your truck at first.

What I have is a lwb '71 4x4 roller & a lot of nice '66 sheet metal. Build plan is an NV 4500 & a 350 Ramjet engine I have. I just scored a set of M1009 rims & a set of '70s 4x4 hub caps. I thinkin 3.73 gears w/ 33s & about a 4" lift. I bought a lwb step bed last month. All it's gonna do is pull a small boat & go coon hunting. Oh by the way I found that bumper if you need it. Looks just like yours without the bend!
