New guy in Fort Worth

Happy Friday guys! My name's Bryce, and I'm over here in Fort Worth, TX. My wife and I are originally from Southern California, but got here as fast as we could(Texas joke). Back in '72, my grandfather bought a C10 from a long closed dealership in Los Angeles. I want to say it was Gateway, but I just can't remember.
When my grandfather passed in 2010, it went to my dad's house in the Kern River Valley, and he carried on the tradition of cutting and hauling firewood with it. Fast forward to 2016, and now that I have finally bought my first house- the decision was made that it's time to go to me. So, this June; it will be a new addition to our family.
So, for now I don't have any pictures to share unfortunately. But I will definitely be asking a TON of questions. I'm looking forward to restoring the truck and sharing my struggles with you guys.
