Re: Electric problem
Turn the lights out in garage. Pull battery cable off. Touch it to the battery. If it sparks you have a load. Pull the fuses out one by one and Check the spark on the battery. Do this until no spark. That circuit has your draw

Re: Electric problem
I usually pull all the fuses and put em back in one at a time... Easier to keep track of which ones you haven't tested yet.
I also usually use a meter between the battery and the ground cable. Use the 10A fused test lead port on the meter. Set it for DC Amps. A reading over 0.025 Amps (25 ma) is way too much. On these trucks background draw should be closer to 10ma or even less. http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Parasitic-Battery-Drain

Re: Electric problem
What does the bad fuse control? Something caused it to blow. Pull out the fuse you replaced and leave it empty. If the battery stops draining, then you now know where you need to start looking.

Re: Electric problem
That's the circuit I would start checking out first.

Re: Electric problem
What's the fuse marked?
What year is your truck? Depending on the year there can be a fuse for the running lamps and a different fuse for the brake lamp circuit. Several other circuits share those fuses depending on what year you have.
