5 lug conversion ?
Decided to go to 5 lug on my 64. I have some questions. I have 2" drop coils right now. Can I use a front disc setup from a 79 and keep my existing coils? Just order a drop spindles from a 73-87? Thanks in advance for any help

Re: 5 lug conversion ?
All depends on what parts you decide to use from the donor. If you use the a arms you will need the drop spindles from that era. If you are going to keep you a arms order the spindles to fit them and just get the rotors, dust shields and calipers from the parts store. Lots of info in the FAQ section on this. And yes you can use your springs

I used belltech 73 to 87 3inch drop spindles with 3 inch coils real easy conversion the hard part was finding brake line fittings always the small stuff .. btw for as low as my truck is it rides great also sent my axles to mosier for a re drill 90 bucks that includes studs
