Engine builders GITT

Have a set of 882 heads on a stockish 350. Just checked piston to valve clearance. .330 on Exh. and .338 on Int. Does this sound right for stock? Reason why I ask is I want to get some alum heads and a little more lift on new cam and maybe new lifters.
