Project "Baby Blue's" 1983 GMC

Out for a quick cleanup and a little sunshine. Fresh 4.5/6 drop, new wheels & tires. Sorry for the crappy pics, and more details to come.

I have just been driving it. I am coming up on 3k miles. I have changed the stereo, got the sport bumper brackets, and replaced both rear wheel cylinders and brakes and that is it. Until I get the burb back on the road it is my daily so it can't be down for long.

Re: Project "Baby Blue's" 1983 GMC

Finally had a productive weekend with the truck. Got all the original carpets steam cleaned, dash & doors waxed and buffed, and everything else detailed. To top if off is the seat back from the shop completely rebuilt with new foam and synthetic leather seat cover.

Re: Project "Baby Blue's" 1983 GMC

And to finish off the weekend, finally got to get out and log some miles. Truck runs and drives great, now ready for a little paint work this week and front end alignment, then I'll call this one finished.

Re: Project "Baby Blue's" 1983 GMC

Not installed currently, but I do have everything. It was removed when the new crate motor was installed to keep it clean under the hood. I have the correct brackets, hoses, a/c compressor, dash bezel and vents.

Re: Project "Baby Blue's" 1983 GMC

Finally after way too many delays and way too many days at the baseball field, I got the truck finished up this morning. And had a little time to get some proper pics done this morning too.

What is the color code for the lighter blue in the middle? Looks great!

It is screaming for a sport bumper on the rear.
