Does any company make a...
Does any company make a spare tire bracket for a long bed stepside? I want to put the spare on my truck, but can't find a used bracket and haven't found an aftermarket one. I don't have the wheel cutout, but my spare will fit easily between the fender and cab. This is the bracket I have seen others use for this...so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. My truck was converted to 5 lug also, but I assume the bracket can be changed. Thanks!

I thought about that...I keep telling myself i want to learn how to weld. A member sent me a PM and said they may have one laying around...if that doesn't work, I will look into having one made. Thanks

I've never seen one. I'd say go to harbor freight, buy a cheap flux welder and make one up with some nice steel bars. I think I just do that eventually

Re: Does any company make a...
it would probably be easier to make a new 5 lug bracket than to find and modify a 6 lug bracket
all the rod supports aim for 6 lug points, a properly designed 5 lug bracket would be easy angle iron is all that you need to for the bracketry and a 10 ga plate for the lug pattern the oem bracket isn't that heavy, though it is triangulated to make it very rigid i didn't have a choice as mine is swb fender mount 6 to 5 adapter plate and spacer to mount the 255 spare, instead of the stock 5'' spare

Big Thanks to Jon--60-66 for finding me a spare tire hanger for the LWB stepside! This will be a great addition to the truck! Can't wait to get it...
