Radio Delete or faceplate options
Hey all,
Have any one you seen any interesting options for the radio opening in the dash? I know some trucks had a radio delete plate. I removed the butchered stereo from my dash last night and I was thinking what options might be available instead of putting in another radio. |

I had the same issue. My radio opening was all jacked up. I did buy a radio delete plate but some of the missing metal was still visible. So what I did was installed this 1963' Corvair radio and faceplate. The Corvair faceplate is a lot bigger in size than the radio delete, so it ended up being perfect. I got that original look I wanted, I am eventually am going to do a hidden sound system but using a after market dual speaker unit that installs under the dash speak grill, and place a amp & under seat sub woofer under the bench seat. |
