Van to pickup power mirror conversion harness!
I've had a couple people ask me about providing just a stand alone mirror harness-so yes, they are available on their own for $159 ea. if anyone is interested. Basically, you just need to source a pair of G-series power mirrors, bolt them on and use this harness-plug n play!
For those whose have never used head type of mirrors, the only leads @ the fuse lock is an ORN/blk BATT lead and the harness has a chassis ground which can secure to the door shell. You will need to drill a 5/8" access hole on your doors behind the base mounting gasket to allow for extending the 4-cavity harness ends to each respective mirror connector. With this harness, both mirrors will work just as GM intended and is designed to be used with a 1990-91 Suburban/K5 power mirror switch. I don't have enough stock of the switches to offer them with every harness but they aren't terribly hard to find on EBay or in junkyards. Last edited by gmachinz; 05-27-2016 at 01:58 PM. |
