Re: help with finding this socket
I recognize that plug as being very common on Toyota and other Asian vehicles. Take your sensor with you,go to a salvage yard, and clip one off. The single tab on the back of the sensor is to keep similar connectors from getting swapped, and it is not uncommon to see many of those two-wire connectors on the same vehicle. In order to keep them from getting installed incorrectly, they have that index mark and the connector bodies are different colors. If you find the correct plug but the index mark is in the wrong place, you can just file the tab off the sensor and then any of them will fit.
Just to be clear-I'm not talking about the two guide tabs and the latch tab that are visible on the sensor in your photo that lock the connector on,I'm talking about the single index tab on the opposite side of the sensor. You will usually find them on trans. speed sensors, any two wire thermal sensors, evap sensors, and some fuel injectors. |

Re: help with finding this socket
Well I'd be embarrassed if I let you do that when I have a bunch of Toyota wiring harnesses hanging upstairs in my shop. Send me a PM with an address and I'll clip a couple off for you.
