Re: CPP represenative?

dont need one.

Just give them your credit card number, nothing else, and see what they ship you.

Sort of like a very expensive cracker jack prize.

Re: CPP represenative?

I called them to order my trailing arm kit as they didn't list the kit without arms on the site. Guy told me it would be out the door in 5-7 days..I ordered this planning on having the kit in my hands in a month. We'll see.

Re: CPP represenative?

it will be exciting to find out what they send you

I'm subscribing to this!!!

Shipping you an empty box and billing you for some part and shiping costs is your best bet. that way you dont get stuck with the expense of return shipping AND restocking fees.

just shut up and be happy...or else.

I ordered only the trailing arm crossmember to replace the non fitting porterbuilt one. I'm in no big rush, I just hope it works. I waited over 12 weeks for parts that didn't fit then threw them in the corner for another year. At this point what's a few more weeks.

Won't be any different from the rest of my aftermarket suspension purchasing experience then.

Just curious why folks still buy s**t from them? All I have heard is bad. I'm sure glad I didn't.

Yes multiple times. I finally gave up, the whole deal was a cluster. He made 90% of it right, this is the one part that there never was an answer for. One other guy was having the same problems an he finally hacked a hole in the floor. I don't want to do that so I ordered the CPP one instead....

Seems like it had to do with frame differences in the early and later squarebody frames.

Re: CPP represenative?

I just always use Summit for any CPP parts I order. Never had any problems with that.

Me too. I'm not much on CPP stuff, but when I've needed something they sell, at least Summit is a dead solid middleman (as long as they show it in stock). Summit customer service is pretty much the gold standard.

Re: CPP represenative?

I dealt with them directly and it was a nightmare from start to finish.Everything about the transaction was a red flag. I try to separate personality from product. I still do but this guys personality challenged me to the extream. In all fairness the booster and master cylinder set uup they sent me looked good. it just was not what I ordered and it did not fit. But OMG the manners of the sales rep and the attitude when I had to return it. I should never have done business with them from the git go. I never will again. All told. a 300 dollar set up cost me almost 100 dollars in shipping and restocking fee's. Never again.

Re: CPP represenative?

I got my trailing arm kit but it was missing a couple parts. Emailed them right away (on Saturday when I received it) and took them til Wednesday afternoon to respond. Said the parts are on the way and should have them in a week. I'm going to buy the springs and retainers on Ebay so that should go without a problem as well. So not great customer service but I did end up getting what I wanted. If you are on a deadline however, order from someone else.

Re: CPP represenative?

I guesse that if they want the volume of business that companies like Sumit can generate for them they must behave themselves. Its kinda weird that they cant play well with others on thier own.
