I am finally putting my 70 back together after 14 years.I have had the truck since it was new in 1970.I found this spring in the bag with the jack hold down bracket and small hold down spring.I don't remember this large spring.Does anyone have any ideas?

Pretty sure it holds the jack handle on the passenger side behind the door latch, the jack handle stands upright.

Thanks.It's all coming back now.The bag is long gone.The jack handle and lug wrench are are misplaced.
