Blinker indicators not working
First, I must say, this forum has been a great help for me with my project. Just doing some minor updates on my 68 c10. Thank you everyone. Now a little history. I had an idiot light cluster, which i have converted to gauges. Everything is working except the TS indicators. They worked on the idiot gauge cluster. New bulbs. I've also got 12 volts on the purple wire on the moon shaped connector, which I shorted to the light blue and dark blue to test. The blinkers work, but not the indicators. Flashers work also. Everything else seems normal. I'm hoping someone can chime in with some more information. I've searched the forum thoroughly, but can't seem to find THIS problem.

The purple wire runs from the fuse block to the half moon connector to power the turn switch and the indicators. If there is power to the front turn signals then there should be power to the dash cluster plug light blue and dark blue wires. If you have power on the cluster plug wires and no lights then the problem must be in the cluster. If you don't have power on the wires then you must have breaks in the blue wires. If you want to check the dash indicator lights, make sure it is well grounded and then jump from the pink wire on pin three on the plug to 10 and 11 on the plug and look for the lights to illuminate.

Re: Blinker indicators not working
Thank you for the information @VetteVet. I will look into this more with your recommendations when I get home from work. Are the blinker bulbs the same as the other bulbs in the cluster?

Re: Blinker indicators not working
Did some more troubleshooting when I got home from work. The pink to the light blue and dark blue did not provide any results either. So, just for kicks I swapped out the sockets from my old cluster to the new one, and lo and behold I have indicators now! Thank you for your help @VetteVet. Now on to my next gauge problem. Temperature gauge. I believe I read somewhere I need a different sending unit.
