MO Wtb a rear bumper for 71 gmc 2500 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I bought a cool 71 gmc 2500 Sierra grande from a board member and it has no rear bumper.
So I am looking for something driver quality that isn't bent or rusted through but I don't have anything particular in mind.
Obviously shipping might be an issue due to size and weight of a bumper but darned if I can find anything local so checking to see if I can find something here.
Sport or step bumper would suffice but not interested in something customized.

i have a cheap step bumper from a 71 c10, photo in post 34 of the thread below. if interested i can get a quote to throw it on a pallet and ship through fastenal. brackets are no good.

I have a few NOS rear bumpers....if you can't find a clean driver one let me know! Shipping is t too bad on these-they're not very bulky and mine are still banded in the GM containers.

Yes they are the smooth, chrome sport style bumper.

This ones more the speed of the first one posted out in Modesto but without functional brackets that one might not work either?

Thanks but no the first response was an old step bumper but it said the brackets were bad.?.
Pretty cool you have the nos sport bumpers and brackets.

sorry i sold the bumper locally today. the brackets were not salvageable. i did measure they are 1/2" thick steel plate and would be fairly simple to fabricate if you find another step bumper. here's a pic of what they look like...
