Quadrajet help???
I finally got my motor going agian it was the fuel pump letting the gas drain back down to the tank... So the truck run's now but hella rich look's like a semi truck. My question is which 2 screw's on the bottom front of a q-jet do I adjust and how ???? Any help would be great!!!!

Gently bottom out each adjustment screw in the front of that Q-J and turn out 1 1/2 to 2 turns as a starting point. But it sounds like your flooding over if it's pushing all that black smoke. It may need a float adjustment or more to cure that. You may want to consider tearing it down, cleaning and reassemble with a carb kit and a new filter and float assembly. It's also possible the float and needle are stuck open from being juggled around. A firm but gentle tap with a soft face hammer in the general location of the fuel inlet/float area may dislodge it, it's worth a try.
