Gotta question for ya guys
Well ive been havin this lifter tick in my 350. I made sure i had a 1/2 turn preload on the lifter and i was doing it so i adjusted it to 3/4 turn and it stopped for about 10 minutes and then started again. It also sometimes is lowder than other times. I was wondering could it be that the lifter has gone flat and its not holding oil or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, Mike

Sounds like a bad lifter.
Lifters are the MOST precisely machined things in a engine and it doesn't take much error (or trash) to mess them up. |
