New license plate
Here's my new license here in ca for my 61 k10. new black and yellow plate and is reflective. black has a tint to it when the light hits it a certain way. you can see it at the top of the plate. also a pic of my old ft plate beyond repair. rear is a little better.

Re: New license plate
I completely dig that plate for your truck! Ive thought about doing something like that for the '63. Only problem is that I see them on more Priuses around here than legitimate rides that are from the era.

Re: New license plate
cool plate. But were you going for an "Original" plate or just like the look of a black plate? The only reason I ask is that you said it is for your 61. In 61 it would have had the yellow/black plates. The black plates didnt come around until 63. Just curious. I'm always on the watch for a proper yellow and black truck plate for mine.

Re: New license plate
Ca dmv doesn't make the vanity plate in org yellow and black, only the black and yellow. You can run org y/b plates if you can find them and are clear with dmv. they all should be clear as they were all replaced in 1963 with the b/y plates. These plates are really just personal plates in black and yellow.
