Hello From Kansas

Hello everyone. I am just getting started with my first resto project. I acquired a 1970 Chevy C10 from my brother in law.

I am also trying to gather a few tools I will need to start the resto. I currently have a carport with a sand floor and a shipping container for a shop. Hopefully in the next few months I will have time to install pavers in the carport to at least give me something somewhat solid to work on.

I'm sure I will have many questions during this long process I will be reading many posts and posting pictures during this build.

Thank you for having a forum like this. I will be very beneficial.

Here are a few pictures of the '70.

Re: Hello From Kansas

Welcome from Navarre, Fl. Salina, Kansas, I use to live in Salina and for a while and built wings at the airport then worked for the Salina Fire Dept. for a little over 10 years. Was back there a year ago and could not believe how much Salina has changed. Anyway, welcome again. On fire station #2 I saw where they put up some pictures over the doors and I am in one on the right pushing the rescue boat . Do not remember what year that was but I think somewhere in the early 70's.
