All original 67 Lwb 2k orig miles
Picked up this truck about 4 weeks ago . From 2nd owner
Didnt believe it was possible to find a truck with less than 2,000 orig miles original paint and tires! But no matter how close i look at every aspect of this truck its alot easier to believe!! Posted via Mobile Device |

Easy for me to believe Ryan. I purchased my 72 about 4 months ago and the more I look at it the more amazed I am. On my first post their were a few that made sly remarks when I used the word Original. But when I look at my truck it says it all even the original Jack that's behind the seat says it.
Hope you get those pictures worked out Id like to see it. |

I found out that in Arizona, after 10 years that the vehicle isn't registered, they purge the records on that vehicle. If you go to the dmv and request a new title, assuming it's in your name, they ask how many miles and if they are original miles. At that point you can tell them if they are or aren't and they'll put that on the title.
I know from the previous owner that the truck I bought didn't have 21000 original miles even though that's what the odometer reads. |

Without irrefutable documentation as proof, I'd be highly skeptical about that claimed mileage. Other than it being extremely unlikely, there's this: our odometers roll over (reset to zero) every 100K miles, and this: old odometers could be manually rolled back (shady used car dealers did this routinely).
But anything's possible. Sounds like you got a fantastic truck, can't wait to see pics.

Very nice truck! With 2,000 miles as the claimed original miles it should be EXTREMELY easy to determine whether or not it is original or not. There should be next to no wear on anything and just about every part on the truck should have a GM part # on it. I would love to hear the trucks life story which should explain the low mileage..

Believe it or not, ultra low mile trucks do exist. I have a 71 with 2300 original miles. Anyone is welcome to come look at it and prove it otherwise. Sure there are bogus claimed low mile trucks out there too. You just need to be informed and know what you're looking at. So let's give this guy a chance to post up some more good pictures so we can see what he has.
