HPTuners question

Almost ready to start my lq4 swap but need to reprogram the PCM. I have HPTuners but have never used it. Have built and configured from scratch some Megasquirts so hopefully the learning curve isn't too steep. Not sure how to approach this and I thought this forum may be a bit more 'noob' friendly than the other ones so here goes

the build
- 01 truck 5.3 harness
- 01 truck 6.0 lq4
- 03 savanna van 4l60e

So obviously need to get a lq4 config and the 4l60e config on a PCM. I have
- 01 truck 4.8 pcm
- 01 truck 5.3 pcm
- 02 truck 6.0 pcm

I believe my options are to either take a '4.8/5.3/4l60e' pcm and manually reconfigure all of the engine parameters to teh 6.0, OR take a '6.0/4l80e' pcm and do a 'segment swap' to get the 4l60e parameters in place.

Is that correct? whats the better of the 2 options? will both use the same credits? I could pay someone local to do this but already have bought HPTuners and the build philosphopy of this truck is to do everything myself (even when it doesn't make sense lol!)

thanks!
