Re: cab mounts
Here is a video I did on locating my cab mounts. There are others here that will chime in that have very good pics and description on their build threads. Pay attention to the "oval hole" on the outside of your frame. That will get you close on mounting the front cab mounts. I mention that in the video as well. Do your research and look at what other have done and decide how high or low you want your cab to be off the frame. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdgYy5YtW8k

Re: cab mounts
Thanks Hussey I was hunting through threads because I couldn't remember who it was that did such an awesome job on documenting their cab mounts. I finally found it. It was YOU!
During mock up I put 4X4 blocks between the cab and the s10 frame to get an idea of where I wanted my cab to sit. The 4X4 blocks actually measure 3 1/2 X3 1/2. I liked the look so I went with it. I'm also using the original s 10 cab mount bushings so my overall height from the frame to the bottom of the cab will be closer to 4 or 4 1/2 inches. "Hussey" has a really nice build and did a good job of documenting the cab mounts. Check out all of Hussey's build but here is a link to the cab mount section. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...3&postcount=50

Re: cab mounts
have you seen skymangs thread? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=632686
he gives a good primer on mounting. keep in mind your mount measurement to the oval hole will depend on the width of the mounts you use.
