Plasti Dip

I am planning to put a 292 and a T5 in my 63 short stepper. I have the 292. Searching for T5. I plan to plasti dip my truck as a cheap alternative to make my truck look good but not spend a fortune. Anyone done this before. See photo for current look.

Re: Plasti Dip

Since it looks like you have quite a bit of body work to do, why not at least throw a paint job on it?

Your question might get more traction over in the Paint and Body category.

Re: Plasti Dip

In my experience plasti dip doesn't work too well on rough or rusty surfaces. Seems to work best on smooth painted surface. I would definitely recommend sanding it down and throwing some cheap paint at it before plasti dip.

What he said..^^^

An industrial enamel for 50$ a gallon will be much better value for sure!
