Deluxe E-Brake Release Handle?
Did up-optioned K5s and C-10s come with a plastichrome e-brake release handle rather than the commonly seen black one? My 1971Jimmy has a worn plastichrome one that I need to replace and am wondering if it is aftermarket.

Re: Deluxe E-Brake Release Handle?
if it's chrome plated plastic it's not original. i always check the wrecking yards for older cars and trucks-early to mid 60s-and some of them have chrome potmetal handles that screw right on to our trucks. not identical in shape but work just fine. another thing to watch for in older GM cars is metal a-c balls that will replace the cheesy plastic version in our trucks.
