Wtb: 1972 swb wood floor rails
Hi, have to replace the floor in my 72 Short Bed, was thinking of changing over to a wood bed for shows. Does anyone have a complete set of rails that hold everything together and holds the wood down?
Thanks Eddie |

Re: Wtb: 1972 swb wood floor rails
You mean the strips that hide the wood seams and act as sliders? Yes, they're available, try mar-k https://www.mar-k.com, or your preferred vendor. I like vendors a state way so while I pay shipping, I don't pay sales tax. Not sure where you are, but in DFW, there are a few places to buy locally, so you pay tax but not shipping (theoretically).
Converting to wood isn't trivial since wood is ~.5" thicker. You need a new front bulkhead (or modify yours), new cross sillls, wood and strips. This is at least a k. |
