New Project 1962 GMC Custom Deluxe

Just started working on my new project. Starting with the inside. Just finished all the metal seats in the original fawn color. Springs fixed and off to Upholstry.I plan on keeping the original paint because it has nice patina. I will post more pics of progress soon.

Hey Bagd,

Two questions for you -- you said you didn't repaint anything? I was hoping for a paint code for that fawn paint.

Second, is there a code for that fabric? I sent a request to SMS and they sent me the wrong sample -- that's the one I wanted.

Re: New Project 1962 GMC Custom Deluxe

Hi Brian,
I actually stripped the seats to bare metal. I used Sunlit Sand metallic Evo used on Nissans. The paint matched close to the original.

The color from SMS is Aqua 2448. Have them send you a sample to confirm that is what u r looking for. Are doing the original colors for your seats?
