Window channel bolt
Does anyone know what thread pitch and length is on the window channel? This would be the hole protruding on the side of the door.
I have the lower two in, I just dont know what is on the side. Thanks! |

The picture is so close up I can't figure out exactly where the hole is located. Most of the bolts that hold components inside the door are 1/4-20 x 3/4" round head machine screw. Some are 1/2" long instead of 3/4. LockDoc

Re: Window channel bolt
Note: The bracket cannot be mounted to the door when installing or removing the vent window. THANKS LOCKDOC
The parts for the window channel are one bracket, one felt channel and three phillips head screws. One screw hole is located above the door latch at the rear of the door. The screw for this has an integrated washer and the thread is 1/4" x 9/16" & 20 TC. Two screw holes are located near the lower rear corner of the interior door. The screws for this have an integrated star washer and the thread is 1/4" x 1/2" & 20 TC. So yeah, Lock was right about that as well. Mine were a different length.
