Considering a 2" lift, what size tires to run?

I currently am running stock suspension with 265/75/16 tires on the wheels. Fills up the wheel wells pretty well and looks like a stock pickup. My ride is pretty rough though and I am looking for ways to improve. Been considering putting on 2" EZ Ride front springs in the front, switching over to 56" or maybe fitting some 64"s springs in the rear to help smooth it out.

Been looking at lots of pictures and doing searches, I'd like to get a little bigger tire to go with the lift. Seems like 33" may be a good choice from what I can see. Not really sure what sizes are out there in 33" tire range. Any ideas, suggestions or pictures of setups would be great. I am running 16x8 wheels, so they would need to fit on that size rim. Thought about 285/75R16 tires as a possiblity.

That suspension setup should definitely help your ride some. Switching to the longer springs in the rear helps a lot. 33's would look nice with 2 inches without having to do any trimming. 285/75's usually come close to 33", but check the manufacturers tire size chart specific to the tire and make sure before you purchase.

My son has 285/75r16 Fierce Attitude's (made by Goodyear), and so far they have been great tires. They are 33.1 inches tall. Here's a pic of Larry's burb front end with 315's (35's). Just to see how they look on a square.

No problem, they can move it.

Thanks for the replies - how do you like the ride of the BDS softride springs over stock?

My springs were shot as well as the shocks so hard to compare very well. Overall, it rides much better (with Bilstein 5100's).

My front was just a touch bouncy so I took out the front bottom leaf. Much better now and the ride height did not really change.
