Squarebody electrical issues
Ran into a problem yesterday and any advance would help! Was putting my carb back in yesterday after a rebuild so I took my battery out to put it on the charger because it's been sitting for a few weeks. When I put it back in I put the terminals back on but like an ass didn't tighten them up . Anyway, when I went to fire up my truck I heard an electrical pop and some smoke near the battery. Now I'm not getting any power to the ignition and I have no power to headlights or acc. I figure it either one of my fusible links or my ignition switch but I gave all the links a good tug and they feel strong still. I even changed the link at the junction next to the brake booster. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks fellas

Re: Squarebody electrical issues
Start with the basics and clean your terminals.
